San Diego Historical Games Convention Schedule

Boardgames (2019)

San Diego Historical Games Convention

November 8, 9 and 10, 2019

This year we are testing an experimental game registration feature. This is an optional website where people can list games they would like to run and others can sign up to play them. In addition we have listed many of the games that appear on the convention schedule. Otherwise we will have sign up sheets in person at the convention. Feel free to organize games through other mechanisms including BGG. We simply hope it streamlines the process for people who are looking for a different, more dedicated tool.

After creating an account you can create new game sessions by clicking Create New Event and fill out some basic information such as name of the game, BGG link if appropriate, and how many players can play, or you can sign up for any already available session by clicking the game’s name in the list of events, then clicking Join. We expect content to grow over time.

We are going to run the system this year and collect feedback. If attendees find it useful we may expand it in future years. The url is https://sdhist.miriku.com and we welcome anyone who is registered try it.

As usual in these sort of trial runs, please let us know if you run into any issues and we’ll try and fix it up as soon as we can.

There is a discussion forum set up on BGG, https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2276163/2019-mega-civ-game-sdhistoricon. Please join the discussion ! This helps get an idea of what sort of turnout we will be seeing and lets all the potential players have a chance to decide on the game specifics.
